As we work to improve the user experience for our customers, you may have noticed a new search tool. Please see the Q&A below to help you navigate this new search toggle.
Why are there two listing categories?
With so many types of home sales, sorting through listings can be a challenge. To give you a quick way to filter your search, we’ve grouped listings into two categories: Agent Listings and Other Listings. You can easily toggle back and forth to find great homes in each group.
Agent Listings are homes listed by real estate agents on the MLS. Agent Listings do not include homes for sale by owner, non-MLS auctions, or foreclosures.
Other Listings are homes for sale by owner, non-MLS auctions, foreclosures, and other properties. Other Listings do not include homes listed by agents on the MLS.
Under the More filter menu, simply toggle between Agent Listings and Other Listings to ensure you’re viewing both listing groups. If you’re still not seeing results, your search may be too narrow. Adjust your filters to see a wider range of homes.
Absolutely. There’s no need to search twice. For example, if you’re looking for a three-bed, two-bath home, both Agent Listings and Other Listings will display homes that meet that criterion. Simply toggle back and forth to see homes in both groups.
If an agent lists your home on the MLS (even through a limited-service brokerage), it will appear under Agent Listings. If you advertise your home on Zillow as for sale by owner, it will appear under Other Listings.
