As we work to improve the user experience for our customers, you may have noticed we're testing a new search toggle. See the Q&A below to help you navigate this new search toggle.
Why are there two listing categories?
With so many types of home sales, sorting through listings can be a challenge. To give you a quick way to filter your search, we’ve grouped listings into two categories: Agent Listings and Other Listings. You can easily toggle back and forth to find great homes in each group.
What’s the difference between “Agent Listings” and “Other Listings”?
- Agent Listings are homes listed by real estate agents on the MLS. Agent Listings do not include homes for sale by owner, non-MLS auctions or foreclosures.
- Other Listings are homes for sale by owner, non-MLS auctions, foreclosures and other properties. Other Listings do not include homes listed by agents on the MLS.
I’m about to sell my home. How will it show up on Zillow?
If an agent lists your home through the MLS, it will appear under Agent Listings. If your agent posts your For Sale listing through their brokerage feed or if you advertise your home as for sale by owner, your listing will appear under Other Listings.
