The Coverage Map is an interactive report in the Premier Agent desktop app that helps Flex team leaders understand and visualize their team’s coverage.
Where can I access my team’s Coverage Map?
Under ZIP Coverage in the Agent Capacity and Lead Routing section of the Premier Agent desktop app.
How do I use the Coverage Map?
Here is a helpful Zillow Academy course you can take on how to use the Coverage Map. The main view of the Coverage Map gives you a geographic look at the ZIP codes where your team is receiving connections. ZIP codes are categorized according to the strength of your team’s coverage in those areas, with:
- Green = Strong coverage; 2 or fewer connections per available agent
- Yellow = Moderate coverage; 3-5 connections per available agent
- Red = Weak coverage; 6 or more connections per available agent
- Gray = ZIP code that is not yet rated for your team due to no recent connections.

Frequently Asked Questions
Question | Answer |
Why is my report not updating after I’ve made optimizations or taken recommended actions? | Changes you make to routing rules may not immediately show on the Coverage Map report because it uses connection data from the previous 7 days and will need time to take in data using your new rules and settings. |
How can my team fill in ZIP codes that are not filled in? | Connect with your Growth Advisor to discuss if there are additional opportunities to expand the ZIP codes worked by your team. |
How is the map affected if my team uses an ISA (Inside Sales Agent)? | Depending on how you’ve structured your team’s routing rules, your ability to use the Coverage Map may be limited. For example, if your team routes only to a single ISA, the number of “Eligible agents” may show up as only “1”. |
What is the difference between ‘total agents’ and ‘active agents’? | Active agents are agents who are assigned to the zip code and have received a connection (in any zip code) in the last 45 days. Total agents are agents assigned to the zip code, even if they haven’t received any connections recently. |
What does ‘available’ agents mean? | Available agents are agents who can receive a connection after factoring in pausing and routing rules (including price point rules, lead type rules, and zip assignments). The coverage report shows the average number of available agents for connections in a given zip over the last 7 days. |
