What is a Coming Soon listing?
A Coming Soon listing is a home that is not officially on the market, but is expected to be listed for sale within 30 days. Buyers can choose to see Coming Soon inventory when searching within a neighborhood or city on Zillow, simply by choosing “Coming Soon” in the search filters.
Where will Coming Soon listings appear on Zillow now?
Coming Soon listings posted through the MLS will appear under “Agent listings” in Zillow’s search experience. Coming Soon listings not posted through the MLS will be displayed under “Other listings”.
Who can post a Coming Soon listing?
Coming Soon properties that are listed on the MLS will appear under Agent Listings. Zillow Premier Agents can also manually post Coming Soon listings that will appear under Other Listings. To manually post a listing, agents must be in compliance with local regulations; in most instances, they need a listing agreement in order to represent the property.
How long can I post a property as Coming Soon?
Agents can list a property as Coming Soon for a maximum of 30 days with an option to extend the Coming Soon status for an additional 30 days. If the property’s status has not changed from Coming Soon within 60 days, the listing will be taken down.
- Convert the listing to a for-sale listing
- Extend Coming Soon status for an additional 30 days, or
- Take the Coming Soon listing down
If you do nothing and the property’s status has not changed, Zillow will take your Coming Soon listing down once it expires.
