How do I download a copy of this lease?
The draft lease is always available for you to download in your Zillow Rental Manager.
- Navigate to the Leases tab.
- Select the (...) button to Download/share draft.
Once the lease has been ratified, you will be able to download a copy of the signed PDF from your Zillow Rental Manager. Simply navigate to the Leases tab, and then View all leases. On this screen, select Download signed PDF next to the lease you wish to download.
Once I’ve sent my tenant the lease, can I see if they’ve signed?
Once I’ve filled out the lease questionnaire, how do I send the lease to my tenant(s) to review?
Once you’ve answered all the questions to create the lease, you will be prompted to view the finished lease. From this page, you can request signatures using the Request signatures button in the bottom right-hand corner of the lease. You can then choose to send the lease for e-signing or print the lease to sign offline. If you choose the e-Signing option, we will send an email to each tenant with a link to review and sign the lease. Please enter a unique email for each tenant.
How can my tenants access their lease agreement once I’ve shared it with them?
When you share the lease for signing, we send an email to your tenants with a link to sign the lease. If your renters have trouble finding the email, and the email was spelled correctly, they should check their spam and junk folders. Sometimes these emails are caught in spam filters.
Your tenant can also access their lease from their Leases Hub here.
They should log into Zillow with the same email that you entered when setting up the lease.
What if my tenants have additional questions about their obligations under the lease?
You can review our explainer leases, which provide a summary of the major provisions of the lease. Within Zillow Rental Manager, you can see an explainer lease tailored to your specific region. You can access it by logging in to your Zillow Rental Manager. Select the Leases tab, then select Get started under the Leases section. If you have an active lease select 'Create a lease' under the lease section. Under Leases, you can view the explainer lease on the right-hand side by selecting 'See a sample lease'.
