How do I manage my advertising budget?

Will I receive a notification every time there is a change in my ZIP code?

To keep you informed — and your inbox clean — notifications will be sent at maximum, every 14 days. For example, after you receive a notification, there may be some small, interim market change both up and down. If those changes are still in effect on the 14th day, a notification will be triggered, allowing you to make an informed decision about your advertising.

Why am I receiving a notification about a share of voice change?

This notification informs you when your total share of voice has decreased, allowing you to reclaim your original share of voice. You can access more information on share of voice here.

Why did my share of voice change?

Your share of voice is calculated by placing your budget as a percentage of the total budget in a particular ZIP code. When a competitor adds — or removes — budget in a ZIP code, your share of voice will change as the total budget in the ZIP code has changed. You can access more information on price and market changes here.

How do I reclaim my share of voice?

  1. Click Get the insights on the email notifying you of your share of voice change
  2. On the following page, click Review change
  3. Confirm monthly price updates in the shopping cart and click Check out

This notification informs you when your rank has decreased, allowing you to reclaim your original rank. You can access more information on market changes here.

When a competitor’s budget exceeds your own in a ZIP code, your rank will change. You can access more information on price and market changes here.

How do I reclaim my rank?

  1. Click Get the insights on the email notifying you of your rank change

Budget Optimization:

What does optimizing my budget mean?

When your monthly budget is allocated in local ZIP codes providing you with the highest possible ROI, your budget is optimized. If your monthly budget is not currently providing you with the highest possible ROI, optimizing your budget will allow you to receive a higher, estimated ROI.

Why did I receive an email about switching ZIP codes?

This email is to inform you that your advertising budget could be further optimized, based on our estimated lead forecast. If there is an opportunity to receive a higher estimated ROI by exchanging one ZIP code for another ZIP code, or multiple ZIP codes, you are notified. Our recommended ZIP code changes do not require spending any additional money.

 

Recommendation No Longer Valid:

I received an email with a recommendation, but when I clicked on it, I was notified that it was no longer valid. What does that mean?

As long as there is an opportunity to improve your advertising, a recommendation will exist. When market fluctuations change or eliminate those opportunities, you will receive a notification.
